From 2025, March: Notice of Introduction of Pinaisara Entry Approval!

Pinaisara Falls and Nishida Falls (Sangala Falls) will be designated as a World Natural Heritage site in 2021, and from March 2025, in order to further protect nature, tours to Pinaisara Fall and Nishida Fall (Sangala Falls) are required to obtain entry approval (approval fee ¥500 per person that include tour fee) from a system operated by Taketomi Town, which has been certified by the government. The daily entry limit is 200 people for Pinaisara and 100 people for Nishida Falls.
